New Year’s Resolution: Training for my pup!

chihuahua-624924_960_720While the New Year approaches, not only should you be making resolutions for yourself, but also for your pooch! Leader of the Pack is offering group class sessions starting January 5th – so what better time to start your resolution than right now!? At Leader of the Pack Dog Training, we offer various classes (Basic Obedience and Obedience with Distractions) to help your dog become better behaved.

The Basic Obedience class focuses on simple commands such as sit, stay, come, down, etc. Our methods are in an attempt to solve problematic behavior such as jumping, chewing and mouthing. Our goal is to establish that you, as the owner, are the dominant/leader, and your dog is the subordinate/follower.

The Obedience with Distractions class is a little more advanced, teaching your pup commands while various distractions are going on such as sound, movement, and objects. We recommend that your dog have some basic command skills such as sit and stay if signing up for this type of class!

If you’d like your pup to get a little extra attention, Leader of the Pack also offers private lessons! We offer a variety of different training packages so feel free to check out what we offer, and see what best fits your pup!
